Hyundai Genesis Concept: NY Show debut for luxury rear-wheel drive sedan

We’ve been hearing about a luxury rear-wheel drive sedan from Hyundai aiming at the US market for a long time now, and to be precise, from the Equus HCD-7 Concept first shown at the 2002 Chicago Auto Show. During that period several heavily camouflaged prototypes popped-up here and there, but that was it. Dubbed Genesis, Hyundai’s full size-luxury sedan concept seems to have lost any ties it might have had with the 2002 HCD-7, and instead it looks like a rebaged Toyota Camry… There’s no official information out on the streets yet, but i suspect that we won’t have to wait long so stay tuned.
